Market Orientation in Product Design
For the past eight years, Espressif has worked on developing its products’ Wi-Fi compatibility. The chips’ Wi-Fi protocol stack is now compatible with all routers on the market. With its competitive edge in terms of connectivity, integration, extensibility, and compatibility, the ESP32 is suitable for a wide range of IoT solutions, allowing for great diversity in product design. Espressif’s products with Wi-Fi connectivity are now widely used in IoT applications across the globe.
While designing the ESP32 chip, Espressif has taken into account developers’ need for smart speakers with optimal Wi-Fi and BT connectivity. Hence, Espressif’s R&D Department has chosen for ESP32 the Tensilica LX6 microprocessors and a dual-core architecture to achieve high computing speed with low power consumption. ESP32-LyraT is designed to fully demonstrate ESP32’s features targeting wireless audio applications.
The board will be available for purchase from late September onwards. Get ready for a brand new developing experience with ESP32-LyraT.
