With a 32-bit RISC-V microcontroller, a 400 KB internal RAM, and a 4 MB Flash, M5Stamp C3U operates at a maximum clock frequency of 160 MHz, facilitating a variety of use cases.

The newly released M5Stamp C3U features an Espressif ESP32-C3 RISC-V MCU, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 (LE) connectivity. It is applicable to a great variety of use cases, including DIY, prototyping, industrial automation, smart-home appliances, wearable and medical devices, as well as consumer electronics. Its compact size and powerful functions make M5Stamp C3U a truly useful device. By combining an RSA-3072-based secure boot and an AES-128-XTS-based flash encryption, ESP32-C3, which is at the heart of M5Stamp C3U, offers secure Bluetooth connectivity.
