Zerynth Tutorials on ESP32-based Devices

Shanghai, China
Aug 31, 2018

Zerynth, the middleware for IoT and Industry 4.0, has been publishing several articles about the way in which ESP32-based devices can be programmed in Python or hybrid C/Python.

The first tutorial, called “Hello Zerynth”, is about getting started with the XinaBox modular electronics, which is made for developing IoT applications. This IoT kit allows developers to make their devices smart and connectable by using only a few lines of Python code. IoT sensor applications and all kinds of wireless sensing projects can be easily completed on this development board. Zerynth, then, simplifies and speeds up IoT development in Python or hybrid C/Python, using ESP32, or other microcontrollers, and connecting them to such cloud infrastructures as AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, IBM Watson, Ubidots, and many more.

Another “getting-started tutorial” focuses on the XK12 IoT Starter Kit, which is Zerynth-programmable and ready for all your ideas. Zerynth has offered a helping hand to those who want to start using this kit, giving them a detailed tutorial on how to achieve some LED blinking. This tutorial focuses on the CW02 development board, which is included in the kit. CW02 is based on the ESP32-WROOM-32 module by Espressif Systems, and it is powered by Zerynth, which means that the board already includes a Zerynth license. All you need to do to activate this is a Voucher Code which must be entered at the registration phase. You can access this tutorial with all its details by clicking on here.

The following tutorial is of a rather more advanced level. It is about controlling the relay of XinaBox OC03, using Python and Zerynth Studio. This tutorial focuses, again, on the CW02 development board, which is based on ESP32-WROOM-32, as mentioned above. The full tutorial can be found here.
