Espressif Systems is a global fabless semiconductor company best known for its ESP32 and ESP8266 series, empowering millions of IoT products worldwide. We are looking for passionate fresh graduates to join our hardware team and grow as PCB Design Engineers, working closely with chip designers, RF engineers, and system teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PCB layouts for evaluation boards, reference designs, and customer products based on Espressif SoCs.
• Collaborate with chip design, RF, analog, power, and software teams to ensure optimal system-level performance.
• Perform schematic review, PCB layout, and design optimization, including signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, and manufacturability.
• Support board bring-up, debugging, and validation, including lab measurements and issue analysis.
• Work with external vendors on PCB fabrication, assembly, and DFM/DFT reviews.
• Document design guidelines and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Microelectronics, or related majors.
• Solid fundamentals in analog/digital circuits, power electronics, and basic RF concepts.
• Familiar with at least one PCB design tool (Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, PADS, etc.).
• Basic understanding of high-speed interfaces, power distribution, grounding, and EMI concepts.
• Hands-on experience from projects, labs, competitions, or internships is a strong plus.
• Curious, detail-oriented, and willing to learn by doing.
• Comfortable working in a cross-functional, fast-paced engineering environment.
