A course on ESP32-CAM by Luis Alberto Zapata Ojeda starts on March 6th on the AIoT Peru educational platform.

Luis Alberto Zapata Ojeda, a mechatronics engineer specializing in Automation, will teach the basics of ESP32-CAM on a Latin American educational platform, called AIoT Peru. The course starts on March 6th and will be conducted in Spanish.

The ESP32-CAM is a tiny camera module based on Espressif’s ESP32-S2 SoC. Apart from the OV2640 camera, and several GPIOs for connecting peripherals, ESP32-CAM also features a microSD card that can be useful for storing images taken with the camera.

Book your place on Luis Alberto Zapata Ojeda’s course about the ESP32-CAM basics, and learn how to create your own apps with it, such as a Video Vigilance IP Camera, a Camera Controller for transmitting images, or a sensor for a basic computer vision system. Along with familiarizing with all the basic functions of ESP32-CAM, the learning objectives of this course also include how to use the ESP32-CAM accessories and how to upload information on the device using analog sensors and actuators as servomotors.

Some of the practical case studies that will be examined during the course are:

  • Streaming images with smart-home devices.
  • Wireless monitoring
  • Smart farming

More information about the course can be found here (in Spanish).
