Espressif supports Pycom’s worldwide series of workshops aiming to bring together the global community of IoT makers.

During 2019 and 2020, Pycom, an Espressif partner since 2017, are hosting a series of 30 one-day events, where developers can come together to learn, develop and hack their connected projects.

If you’re a hobbyist, hardware hacker or software engineer looking to take things to the next level, learning new skills in IoT, LPWAN or Cellular networking then this is your invitation to do just that. The Pycom #GOINVENT World Series is a set of events created especially for you.

The first workshops in this series took place in Dublin (Ireland), Eindhoven (The Netherlands), Berlin (Germany) and Madrid (Spain) while there are two upcoming workshops scheduled for July 2019, in London (UK) and Paris (France).

The London workshop will take place on 16th July at Digital Catapult, 101 Euston Road, London, NW1 2RA. Participating developers will be greeted with a choice of coffee, tea and a snack before they get hands-on with a full day IoT enterprise workshop with the Pycom kit that they will get to keep and take home with them for future project work or to further develop the project they create on the day.

The #GOINVENT World Series of workshops will help participants simplify development for LoRa-based applications. Going one step further, arriving at a connected device that can scale has never been easier now that these new workshops are happening all over the world.

The main aim is for Pycom and partners to get participants up and running, teaching them how to create and connect a device to the Internet, so that all participants walk out with a proof of concept that is well connected to an LPWAN network.
