With ATOM Echo, you and your friends can now enjoy your favorite music everywhere!

M5Stack’s ATOM Echo is a tiny programmable smart speaker based on the IoT power of ESP32 and the sleek design of the M5ATOM series. Its form factor is very small, with dimensions measuring only 24x24x17 mm. Music can be played using the bluetooth capabilities of the ESP32 from a mobile phone or tablet. The device can be programmed to access AWS, Baidu and other cloud platforms, using the built-in microphone and speaker for voice interaction. Thus, ATOM Echo has such AI capabilities as voice control, story telling, etc.

Users can simply ask for things, such as their favorite music, the latest news and other information! They can input their voice through the microphone of ATOM Echo, and output the text in their device using text-to-speech APIs. ATOM Echo can also be programmed to control compatible smart devices at home with just the sound of users’ voice.

The speaker features an RGB LED (SK6812) which can display its connection status. In addition to being used as a Bluetooth speaker, ATOM Echo can still control any other device in the ATOM series, which can be connected through the grove interface. Pins G21 / G25 can only be used for general I/O, as they do not support I2C and UART. Screw holes on the back enable users to easily affix the device anywhere they like.
